DELFT CANALS
1901 photo of a man making a delivery. It is unusual to see a
boat-mast upright in town. The canal bridges are quite low
and the mast folds down to pass under the arches.
1885 photo of the north end of Delft. The towers of the Old
Church and New Church barely show through the low clouds.
