Recreation at Reed’s Lake

In the 1890’s the
Lake offered boat
cruises, boat rentals,
entertainment, and
more. Social groups
also had buildings
and canoe clubs by
the lake.

The Reeds Lake Street
Railway carried many
people between the
city and the lake. To
increase business
they built the Ramona
Amusement Park at
the lake.
